Mixing a passion for drawing and painting with a love for movies and nostalgia

 

I have always loved movies. My first job was at a movie theater. When I was younger, I would wear out certain VHS tapes, watching movies I loved over and over... Teen Wolf, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Die Hard, Indiana Jones, etc.

 

Movies have the power to let you escape and the ability to help you connect with others. Just like going to the movies, my art is a way for me to escape burdens of everyday life and lets me connect with people who share the same affection for movies as I do. 

 

With a mix of pencil, watercolors, colored pencils, acrylic paint, and markers, I take movie scenes that I have connected with and try to capture moments of performance on paper so the viewer can remember the movie, the moment, who they shared it with, and get involved with the nostalgia that makes movies so great.
